Xiaomi has Google Play. Install SB Player.
I used the onboard Bluetooth to connect to Bluetooth headphones, rather than play on the TV itself.
Sound quality is excellent.
About 5 minutes to set up.
Probably would work with other Android TV boxes.

The same can be achieved by using the chromebridge plugin as the Xiaomi is chromecast enabled.
