Control of amplifier power on Sqeezelite/squeezeplug

Hi All,

I am looking for a solution to a small problem I have with the squeezeplug/squeezelite player. My system comprises of an Odroid U3 running Squeezeplug /LMS server 3 x S/B Duet receivers and 3 Raspberry Pi's as players using squeezeplug/squeezelite controlled by Ipeng on Ipad and Squeeze command on my Samsung phone. the system works great with much improvement since installing the odroid U3 the problem I have is I want to hide the players as they drive ceiling mounted speakers I wish to control the power to the power amps via the IPeng/android apps I have hacked the S/B Duet receivers using the front panel Led outputs as the leds are only on when the player is switched on there are three outputs as the leds on the front of the Duet receiver are RGB leds and when the player is on the the led is dim white when the player is on but no music playing and bright white when music is playing and the led is off when the player is off this power is controlled by the Ipeng / Android app. I would like the same functionality on the R/Pi players possibly using a GPio pin on the R/Pi driving a relay but I have very little programming experience and would like some help in doing this.

Thanks in advance

Peter
