So as I described in an other thread I am putting together a kitchen soundsystem based on a Raspberry Pi talking to my existing squeezebox server (I.e. this will only be a player, not a server). While I am waiting for the hardware to arrive I am wondering what software to put on the RPi. As I understand it the two obvious choices are either SqueezePlug or piCorePlayer. At the moment I am leaning towards piCorePlayer, but for no particular reason. Does anyone have some thoughts on the pros and cons these two? Or does it even make sense to compare?
